This past friday my friends Phoebe and Ben came up to visit, which was lovely, but very odd once they had gone, as it was nice to have homeland friends around. I hope they come visit again one day. We pull normal faces in photos.
My friend Abby and I volunteer for a charity called READ and this Wednesday it held a halloween party, for which we had to decorate a local shot bar. I like to think we did a good job seeing as we had to get decorations from shops by asking them to be nice and donate. It must be said, my friends had some pretty funny/ awesome outfits! Though I suppose you could say I'm a little bias, as I did make one of them, out of a white sheet...what could it of been?
I even attached the hood! Though it was a bit of a rushed job!
We were a bat, a devil, a cat, a pumpkin, a ladybird, and of course a ghost! Can't wait for actually halloween, but I wish it was a bigger holiday over here in good old England.
On Sunday my lovely mum came to visit. She took me out for lunch and we went shopping (of course!it's what you do when mothers come visit at uni!). I was debating whether to get a sequin jacket as I love them, but we decided this one was better because 1) I would wear it more and 2) it was in the sale. A winner really.
I also got some lovely boots from POP boutique and some ear muffs which I feel are essential for the cold weather which will hit very soon.

The little residential area there looks so lovely. I would love to live in on of the flats. We spied through the windows (asking for it when you don't have curtains) and I loved how the ceilings of the apartments had exposed brick. Yes, I clearly watched too many grand designs in my day.
Awh, young love!
This cold weather just makes me want to snuggle up in some big knitwear with a peppermint tea, so naturally the other day I could not resist the call of a truly Christmas-esque item. Marks and Spencers finest!
Three of us went to Leeds this weekend for a house party. It was a little strange being so close to home but not actually going home. And if I'm honest, I missed Liverpool when I was there!

Tights: Oasis Sale
Boots: H&M - i believe this purchase was fate, I was meant to go to the gym but forgot my purse, on the way to retrieve it I got a text from my friend Chloe asking if I wanted to go to town because Dothory Perkins had 20% off and the cast from hollyoaks, o and free food! So I went, went into H&M saw some light pink pumps I wanted, but they didnt have my size, so I did not get them. On walking past the other H&M in town I decided I would have a peak and see if they had my size, but I got distracted by these boots instead. Fate.
Some random clothes outfits. The first outfit, oddly, I wore the other day when in the afternoon I came to check this blog and saw that Tori, in her "hello hello from portsmouth" post was wearing basically the same outfit. Great minds!
I'm off to see (500) days of summer today. Hope all is well wherever you are!

Found this dress in the H&M sale. It's amazing! You can unzip it around the waist and you've got yourself a crop top! The shoulders are excellent as well, they kind of stick out and are covered with zips. (Excuse the orange top underneath, i was too lazy to take it off!)
Pink trousers! I've wanted some for aaages and I found some in the H&M sale.
H&M sale is my favourite!
I truly hate mirror photos, but it's the only way I have at the moment so I can only apologise.
I'm going to go get my flatmates to amuse me now. Till we meet again! xx
