I've never been particularly graceful, in fact I'm clumsy. I've been known to fall, often. I'm also very impatient.
According to my dear mother it is fixable, but how annoying! It goes on a long list of alterations and repairs I will one day get round to.
The second, and altogether more ridculously foolish, event was what I did to my new dress. We went shopping on Friday and I got a sheer grey flowery dress for £4. It was almost ankle length so I knew I would we lopping the bottom half off. So I am impatient. Bascally some few hours after I get home I get out the scissors and start cutting away. It has gone from being ankle length to barely skimming my ass! And to top it off its not even a slightly straight line.
Oh and I did have a full length photo but guess what, I deleted it. You can believe this or not but I am not actually a complete dumbass, usually.
Bugger it, I can layer. if there's one thing I can do it's layering.
On a lighter note I got some shoes, also £4. God bless Primark. They are highly impractical for april showers and extremely thin soled but heck, they're pretty.

poor pink skirt!
but your mom is right, i think it's fixable too :), don't be sad.

the hem doesn't have to be in a straight line to look good, i sort of like it with different length all around for an asymmetrical look.
yeah, you could layer it, or you could wear it as a top, over skinnies or something.
it depend i guess, i dont know what the shape of it is.
oh, no, don't hate Emma :)
oh man, I'm pretty clumsy too! totally tore up this kimono today only God knows how on stage (I had to model out) and at the end of the show I tripped off the stage, luckily not falling or anything... just looked like a fool..

very cute shoes! but shame theres no support...
At the it can still be a sheer floral blouse!
Cute shoes!
Anyone can see that those tartan shoes are your way of illustrating your inherent need for haggis! Trust me, it's so good! And I'm a fussy eater! That's a real shame about your skirt; that thing is soooo pretty.
The tear on the first skirt would take less than a minute to fix with a sewing machine. At least it tore at a seam and the actual fabric didn't tear--that's much harder to fix without obvious stitching showing.
cute shoes, also noticed the leeds pic on your blog, jealous! My best friends got tickets to reading and I can't bear to talk to them about it lol.
thanks, darling!

You shouldn't be so hard on yourself! I've done that heaps and heaps of times. Impatience is my middle name...
My solution are: layer (like you said), cut shorter into a tunic or you could add a band in a similar dark colour or in the colour of the flowers to the bottom.
Thanks also for your lovely comment.
